Serves 4-5
Method:

Rub the butter into the flour and add the remaining
ingredients.

Quickly work together to form a dough
and allow to rest in the fridge for at least 30
minutes.

Roll out the pastry, not too thinly, and
cut desired shapes with
pastry cutters.

Place cakes on
a baking sheet covered with baking paper, brush with
water and sprinkle with a mixture of coarse sugar and
caraway seeds.

Bake at 225 degrees until cakes are
pale gold in color.
