Christmas Recipes - Madeira Cake Recipe

Ingredients

Method:

1. Preheat oven 180C. (350F). Gas or Electric.

2. Grease and flour cake pan. Of using electric mixer or hand rotary beater, blend in a small bowl.

3. Blend at low speed until all ingredients are moistened. Beat at high speed for 4 minutes.

4. Pour mixture into a 24cm x 11 cm loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes.

5. Cake is baked if it springs back when lightly touched in the centre.
