Recipe
Ingredients

500 g pork
sausages, each cut into four
-
1 tsp mixed herbs
-
6 slices white
bread, cut into 2 triangles each

4 tbsp butter
-
1 onion, chopped
-
1 green pepper,
chopped
-
410 g tin tomato and mushroom soup
-
1 tbsp mustard
Serves 4
Method:
-
Using a flameproof casserole, fry
sausage pieces in their own fat until golden.
-
Add onion and green pepper and
sauté until tender. Add herbs, stir in soup and
heat through.
-
Spread bread slices with 1 butter
on both sides.
-
Arrange 1 triangles on top of
casserole and bake at 170 C for about 20 minutes
until topping is brown and crisp.
-
If necessary grill towards end of
cooking time.
