Christmas Recipes - Special Cumberland Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
2 tbsp finely striped lemon rind
1 deciliter red currant jelly about 180 g
4 tbsp port wine
1 deciliter red wine
1/2-1 tsp mustard powder
Serves 6-8
Method:
Boil the lemon rind in water for a few minutes.
Stir the jelly on low heat until it has dissolved, add the wines and season with mustard powder.
Store in cold place.
