Almond Fruit Salad Recipe

4 dessert apples,
cored

4 peaches, skinned
and stoned

125 g/4 oz
strawberries

4 slices of pineapple

125 g/4 oz lychees, skinned and stoned
Almond syrup:
Method:

First
make the syrup. Put the almonds, water, blended
corn flour and sugar in a pan and mix well.

Gradually
bring to the boil, stirring, then simmer for 10 minutes,
stirring constantly.

Remove from the heat and leave to
cool, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin forming.

Slice the apples, peaches and strawberries; cut the
pineapple into cubes. Put all the fruit in a bowl and
mix well.

Spoon over the almond syrup and chill before
serving.
