Desserts Recipes - Panettone with Peaches and Clotted Cream Recipe

Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 4 peaches, halved and stoned

  • 4 slices of panettone ground cinnamon, for dusting

  • 4 tablespoons clotted cream

  • icing sugar, for dusting


Method:

  1. Heat a griddle pan or nonstick frying pan and cook the peaches on each side until slightly charred, about 5 minutes.

  2. Toast the panettone slices for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden. Place the peaches on the panettone and dust with cinnamon.

  3. Spoon on the clotted cream, dust with icing sugar and serve immediately.

Note: Griddled panettone is delicious and makes an interesting base for a dessert. Other fruits, such as apples, apricots and pears, can be griddled and used instead of the peaches.
