Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 500 g/1 lb mixed redcurrants, blackcurrants and blackberries, washed

  • 125 g/4 oz caster sugar

  • 250 g/8 oz raspberries

  • whipped cream, to serve


Method:

  1. Place the currants and blackberries in a heavy-based saucepan with the sugar.

  2. Cook gently over a low heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes until tender. Remove the pan from the heat, add the raspberries, and set aside to cool.

  3. Spoon the fruit into individual serving bowls and serve with whipped cream.
