75 ml/3 fl oz light rum

1 miniature bottle of
orange-flavored liqueur

thinly pared rind of 1
lemon

2 bottles claret or other
red wine

3 bottles ginger ale
-
ice cubes
Method:
-
Put the rum
and orange-flavored liqueur into a small jug.
Add the lemon rind, cover and leave to marinate
for about 2 hours.

Pour the
claret and ginger ale into a large bowl, add the
rum and orange-flavored liqueur mixture with the
lemon rind and stir to mix.

Add a handful
of ice cubes and serve immediately.
