Drinks and Finger Food Recipes - Grape Punch Recipe

Ingredients

Serves 12

  • 600 ml/1 pint sparkling apple juice

  • 600 ml/1 pint grape juice

  • 600 ml/1 pint ginger ale

  • 4 tablespoons lime juice cordial

  • 4 tablespoons clear honey

  • Tea liquor:

  • 25 g/1 oz Indian tea leaves

  • 600ml/1 pint cold water

To decorate:

  • ice cubes (optional)

  • 12 lemon slices

  • seedless grapes


Method:

  1. First make the tea liquor. Put the tea leaves into a jug and pour over the cold water. Cover and leave to stand overnight.

  2. Strain 450 ml/3/4 pint of the tea liquor into a large bowl, add the remaining ingredients and stir well.

  3. To serve, pour the punch into individual glasses, add the ice cubes, if liked, and decorate with lemon slices and seedless grapes.
