Drinks and Finger Food Recipes - Sesame Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients

Serves 8

  • 8 chicken wings

  • grated rind and juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 4 tablespoons clear honey

  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

  • salt and pepper


Method:

  1. Put the chicken wings in a single layer in an ovenproof dish. Stir the lemon rind and juice with the honey and sesame seeds.

  2. Season with salt and pepper and pour over the chicken. Cover and leave in a cool place for at least 30 minutes, turning the wings at least once.

  3. Cook the wings, uncovered, in a preheated oven, 200°C (400°F), Gas Mark 6, for 15 minutes.

  4. Pour off the marinade and return the wings to the oven for a further 10 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
