Drinks and Finger Food Recipes - Walnut Dip Recipe

Ingredients

Serves 10

  • 125 g/4 oz walnut pieces

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 250 g/8 oz natural yogurt

  • 1/4 cucumber, peeled

  • salt and pepper

  • crisp fresh vegetables, or biscuits, to serve


Method:

  1. Put the walnut pieces, garlic, oil and lemon juice in.a food processor or blender and puree until smooth.

  2. Add the yogurt and blend in quickly. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  3. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Chop the cucumber finely and stir it in. Serve chilled, with crisp fresh vegetables or biscuits.
