Drinks and Finger Food Recipes - White Wine Punch Recipe

Ingredients

Serves 20

  • 3 bottles dry white wine, well chilled

  • 1/4-3/4 bottle dry sherry

  • 4-6 tablespoons Curafao or Grand Mamier

  • 900 ml/1 1/2 pints tonic water, well chilled, or a mixture of tonic water and lemonade

  • crushed ice 

  • To decorate:

  • cucumber slices

  • 1 orange, thinly sliced

  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced

  • 1 apple, cored and sliced


Method:

  1. Pour the white wine, sherry and Curafao or Grand Marnier into a large bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until required.

  2. Just before serving, add the tonic water or tonic water and lemonade mixture.

  3. To serve, put handfuls of crushed ice into serving jugs and pour in the punch. Decorate the jugs of punch with the cucumber, orange, lemon and apple slices.
