Drinks and Finger Food Recipes - Zombie Recipe

Ingredients

Serves 1

  • 2 measures light rum

  • 1/2 measure dark rum

  • 1/2 measure apricot brandy

  • 1 measure unsweetened pineapple juice

  • 1 measure passion fruit juice

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • 3 tablespoons orange juice

  • 1 teaspoon icing sugar

  • crushed ice

  • 151-proof rum (optional)

To decorate:

  • 1 fresh pineapple wedge

  • 1/2 orange slice

  • 1 cocktail cherry


Method:

  1. Combine the light and dark rums, apricot brandy, fruit juices and sugar in a blender with 4-5 crushed ice cubes.

  2. Blend at low speed for 1 minute, then strain into a glass. Carefully float a little 151-proof rum on top, if using.

  3. Decorate with the pineapple, orange and cherry.
