Main Dish Recipes - Quiche Lorraine with Bacon

Ingredients  

  • 1 1/2 cups milk

  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • Dash of cayenne

  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese

  • 2 Tbs. flour

  • 1/2 lb. Bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pastry shell

Makes 6 servings


Method:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Combine milk, eggs and seasonings; mix well.

  2. Toss cheese with flour; add cheese mixture and bacon to egg mixture. Pour into pastry shell.

  3. Bake at 350°F 40 to 45 minutes.
