Main Dish Recipes - Salisbury Steak, Onion Gravy

Ingredients

• 1 10 1/2oz. can Campbell's Condensed Onion Soup                           

• 1 Tbs. flour                 

• 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef                    

• 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs sauce

• 1 egg, slightly beaten

• 1/4 tsp. prepared mustard

• 1/4 tsp. salt

• Dash pepper

• 1/4 cup catsup

• 1/4 cup water

• 1 tsp. Worcestershire

Makes 6 servings

Method:

1. In bowl, combine 1/3 cup Soup with beef, crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties.

2. In skillet, brown patties; pour off fat. Gradually blend remaining soup into flour until smooth.

3. Add to skillet with remaining ingredients; stir to loosen browned bits.

4. Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally.
