San Giorgio Marzetti
Ingredients

8 ounces San
Giorgio Medium Egg
Noodles

1 lb. lean ground
beef
-
3/4 cup finely
chopped onion

1/2 tsp. salt

1 16-ounce jar San
Giorgio Spaghetti Sauce
with Mushrooms

1/2 cup green pepper
slivers
-
1/2 cup thinly sliced
celery
-
1 cup frozen peas
-
1 cup tomato juice
-
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
-
1/2 tsp. crushed oregano
-
1/8 tsp. pepper
-
1 cup shredded
Cheddar cheese
-
San Giorgio Grated
Parmesan cheese
Makes 8 (1 cup) servings
Method:

Prepare medium egg noodles as directed on package.
Brown beef and onion in a heavy skillet until the
pink disappears, breaking up the pieces as it
cooks; pour off fat.

Sprinkle the meat with salt.
Add the remaining ingredients, except for cheeses.
Simmer, Covered for 10 minutes.

Add the hot drained noodles and
blend. Stir until hot; remove from
heat. Blend in Cheddar cheese. Serve in a hot casserole, garnished with Parmesan cheese.
Variation:
If you desire, place half of the mixture in a freeze container, cover and freeze. Allow to
defrost, sprinkle with buttered San Giorgio Seasoned
Bread crumbs and bake.
