Spaghettini Bolognese
Ingredients

1/4 lb. mushrooms,
sliced
-
1 carrot, sliced
-
1 clove garlic,
crushed
-
1/2 cup each:
chopped onion, celery and green pepper
-
2 Tbs. Wesson Oil
-
3/4
lb. Italian sausage, casings removed
-
2 6-oz. or 1 12-oz. can Tomato Paste
-
3 cups water
-
1/4 cup dry red
wine (optional)
-
1 tsp. sugar
-
1/4 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
-
1 lb. spaghettini cooked and drained
Makes 6-8 servings
Method:
-
Sauté mushrooms, carrot, garlic, onion, celery and
green pepper in hot oil in Dutch oven.

Add sausage;
cook until sausage loses redness; drain fat.

Add
remaining ingredients except spaghettini. Simmer,
uncovered, 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over hot spaghettini.
