Main Dish Recipes - Stuffin' Topped Halibut

Ingredients   

  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs

  • 1/2 cup Squeeze Parkay Margarine

  • 1/2 cup chopped celery

  • 1/4 cup chopped onion

  • 1/4 tsp. sage

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 4 frozen halibut steaks, 3/4-inch thick (thawed)

Makes 4 servings


Method:

  1. Combine crumbs, margarine, celery, onion and seasonings; mix well.

  2. Place fish in 11 3/4 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish; top with crumbs mixture.

  3. Bake at 350°F, 30-35 minutes or until crumbs mixture is golden brown and fish flakes easily with fork.

Variations: Substitute salmon steaks for halibut. Substitute dill weed for sage.
