Pasta, Noodles and Rice Recipes - Egg Noodles in Yellow Bean Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

Serve 4

  • 375 g/12 oz egg noodles

  • 3 tablespoons yellow bean paste

  • 2 teaspoons chili sauce

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 3 tablespoons oil

  • 2 green peppers, cored, deseeded and thinly sliced

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 150 g/5 oz bean sprouts

  • salt


Method:

  1. Cook the noodles in salted boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain.

  2. Mix together the yellow bean paste, chili sauce and garlic.

  3. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan on a high heat, add the peppers, onion and bean sprouts, and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  4. Add the noodles and stir in the sauce mixture. Heat through, transfer to a warmed serving dish, and serve.
