Noodles Tossed
with Meat and Vegetables Recipe

375 g/12 oz noodles
2 tablespoons oil
2 green chilies,
deseeded and thinly sliced
1 garlic clove,
thinly sliced
375 g/12 oz minced pork
2 carrots, cut into
matchsticks
3 celery sticks,
cut into matchsticks
1/2
cucumber,
cut into matchsticks
4 spring onions,
sliced
1 small green
pepper, cored, deseeded and sliced
1 tablespoon soy
sauce
2 tablespoons sweet
red bean paste
1 tablespoon dry
sherry
Method:
Cook
the noodles according to the packet instructions,
then drain
well.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a wok or
deep frying pan, add the chilies and garlic, and
stir-fry for about 30 seconds. Add the pork and cook
for 2 minutes.
Increase the heat,
add the carrots, celery, cucumber, onions and green
pepper, and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in the soy
sauce, bean paste, sherry and noodles. Stir well to
mix and
heat
through.
Pile on to a
warmed
serving dish and serve
immediately.
