Salads Recipes - Bulgar Wheat Salad Recipe

Ingredients

Serve 4

  • 125-150 g/4-5 oz bulgar wheat

  • 2 tablespoons French Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons diced cucumber

  • 1 tablespoon sliced spring onions

  • 3 tomatoes, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons cooked peas

  • 2 tablespoons sweet corn kernels

  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives

  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint


Method:

  1. Place the wheat in a bowl. Cover it completely with boiling water and leave for 25 minutes. Drain well and place on kitchen paper to dry.

  2. Put the wheat into a bowl with the dressing. Add the other ingredients, mix together thoroughly.

  3. Garnish with black olives, lemon wedges, and coriander sprigs, and serve.
