Sauces, Salads Recipes - Cranberry Apple Waldorf

Ingredients

  • 3 envelopes Knox Unflavored Gelatine                  

  • 1/3 cup sugar                                 

  • 1 cup boiling water                      

  • 3 1/2 cups cranberry juice cocktail

  • 1 cup chopped apple

  • 1/2 cup chopped celery                                                

  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts

Makes about 8 servings


Method:

  1. In large bowl, mix Knox Unflavored Gelatin and sugar; add boiling water and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.

  2. Add cranberry juice; chill until mixture is consistency of unbeaten egg whites.

  3. Fold in apple, celery and walnuts; pour into 8-or 9-inch square pan and chill until firm.

  4. To serve, cut into squares, serve as a relish.
