Sauces, Salads Recipes - Tangy Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white vinegar

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper

  • 1 16-oz. can Finest Cut Green Beans, drained

  • 1 15-oz. can Finest Cut Wax. Beans, drained

  • 1 15-oz. can Finest Dark Red Kidney Beans, drained

  • Red onion rings (optional)

Makes 10 servings


Method:

  1. Combine vinegar, sugar, oil, onion, and green pepper in large bowl and mix well. Drain all Beans and add to dressing.

  2. Toss gently and marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  3. Serve in bowl lined with lettuce. May be garnished with onion rings.
