Side Dishes, Vegetables Recipes - Broccoli au Gratin

Ingredients                

  • 1 bunch broccoli (about 2 lbs.) or 1 small head cauliflower (or two 10-oz. frozen packages of either vegetable)

  • 1 11-oz. can Campbell's Condensed Cheddar Cheese soup

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 2 Tbs. buttered bread crumbs

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Makes 4 to 6 servings


Method:

  1. Cook vegetable; drain. Place in shallow baking dish (10 x 6 x 2 inches).

  2. Stir soup; blend in milk; pour over vegetable. Top with crumbs.

  3. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until hot. Garnish with bacon before serving.
