Side Dishes, Vegetables Recipes - Candy-Coated Carrots

Ingredients              

  • 4 Tbs. butter or margarine

  • 4 Tbs. brown sugar

  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco@ pepper sauce

  • 1/8 tsp. salt

  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

  • 6-8 carrots, sliced and cooked

Makes 4 servings


Method:

  1. Place butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stir until combined.

  2. Add Tabasco and salt; mix well; add lemon juice.

  3. Remove from heat. Add hot, drained carrots and toss gently until coated evenly.
