Carrots in Onion Sauce
Ingredients

1/4 cup finely chopped
onion

2 Tbs. oil

2 cups diced carrots, cooked and drained

1/3 cup Pet Evaporated
Milk
-
1/4 tsp. salt

Few grains pepper
Makes 4 servings,
1/2 cup each
Method:

Cook
onion in hot oil over medium heat until limp.

Stir in
carrots, evaporated milk, salt, and pepper.

Cook over low heat
stirring gently until sauce coats the carrots and is
slightly thickened. Serve hot.
