Fried Wheatena
Ingredients

1 cup

3 1/2 cups water

1 tsp salt
Makes 9 1-inch slices
Method:

Combine Wheatena, water and salt in large saucepan. Bring to rolling
boil. Cook 5 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat; cool about 5
minutes.

Pour into 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Cover; chill until firm. Un-mold; cut into
1-inch slices.

Sauté, turning to brown on both
sides. Serve hot with brown sugar or maple syrup.
Note: Left-over Wheatena may also be used this way.
