Ingredients

1 20-ounce can Dole Pineapple Chunks, in
syrup
-
2 cups water
-
1 cup long-grain
brown rice
-
2 Tbs. soy sauce
-
1 tsp. grated fresh
gingerroot
-
12 tsp. rosemary
-
2
Tbs. butter
-
2 Tbs. chopped green
onion
-
1/4 cup toasted
slivered almonds
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Method:
-
Drain pineapple syrup
into saucepan. Add water and bring to boil.
-
Stir in
rice and rosemary. Cover and simmer 35 to 45
minutes, until rice is tender and liquid is
absorbed.
-
Mix in pineapple chunks and remaining
ingredients and heat through.
