Ingredients

3 Tbs. butter or
margarine
-
1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1/2 cup finely
chopped green pepper
-
2 cloves garlic,
minced or pressed
-
1 cup long grain rice
-
2 cups beef bouillon
-
1 tsp. cinnamon
-
1/2 tsp. salt
-
2/3 cup Blue Diamond Chopped Natural
Almonds
-
1/2 cup dark, seedless
raisins
Makes
4 servings
Method:
-
In
large skillet melt butter; sauté onion, green pepper and garlic
until barely tender.
-
Add rice and cook, stirring often, until
lightly toasted, about 4 to 6 minutes.
-
Stir in bouillon, cinnamon
and salt; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
-
Stir in almonds and raisins;
continue cooking, covered, another 5 minutes or until all liquid is
absorbed.
