Side Dishes, Vegetables Recipes - Sweet Sour Shellie Beans

Ingredients            

• 2 strips bacon

• 1/3 cup onion, finely diced

• 1 1-lb can Stokely's Finest Shellie Beans

• 1 Tbs. sugar

• 1/8 tsp. salt

• Few grains pepper

• 2 Tbs. white distilled vinegar

Makes 4 servings

Method:

1. Cut bacon in 1/2-inch pieces. Brown lightly with diced onion.

2. Add liquid drained from Shellie Beans. Cook down to about 1/2 cupful.

3. Add remaining ingredients and Shellie Beans. Heat and serve.
