750 g/1
1/2 lb baby turnips

50 g/2 oz butter
-
2
heaped tablespoons clear honey
-
2
tablespoons flaked almonds
-
salt and pepper

1 1/2 tablespoons chopped coriander sprigs, to garnish
Method:

Cook the turnips in salted boiling water for about
10 minutes until tender but still firm to the bite.
Drain.

Melt the butter with the honey in a frying pan. Add the
turnips and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring, until
glossy.

Toast the almond flakes in a dry frying pan over
moderate heat until
golden, then stir into
the turnips.

Transfer to a warmed serving dish. Season with salt and
pepper, pour over
the pan juices, sprinkle with the coriander and
serve.
